I have a message for all children: stay in school, don’t do drugs, and if something on your food slicer is stuck, for god’s sake, don’t use force.

That’s actually not as bad as what I did to two of my fingers a couple weeks ago. Clear white scar tissue across the pads now and some nerve damage, yo.

It was. I do-it-yourself fixed it with superglue. So much blood. I was trying to straighten a piece of metal with a bent sharp edge and fell on the metal (and the edge) with it like a knife on my fingertips.

One time, when I was in like second grade, my dad was helping me build a pinewood derby car for cub scouts and he almost cut the pad of his thumb clean off on a radial arm saw. He drove to the hospital with it hanging on by a little bit of skin and can’t fell it today because it severed nerves. No fun!
